Charlie Salmon - Owner & Head Coach

My interest in Jiu Jitsu began while watching Royce Gracie dominate the early Ultimate Fighting Championships using Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I began my journey with Jiu Jitsu in 2005. I instantly realized the effectiveness of this martial art, regardless of an opponent’s size or strength. I was immediately addicted. After years of training and competing, I began teaching a kids program. My passion for teaching continued to grow, and in 2013 my wife Amy and I opened Mat Monsters Academy.
